It was in May, do you remember? We were young and it was our first real holiday together.

We arrived in Annecy just before nightfall and went directly to leave our cases in the Hotel de Savoie .
We walked along the Thiou up to the bar ‘The Venetians’ thinking about Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Madame de Warens who first met a few steps from here.

The following day, we wanted to discover everything, we went to see the waterfalls in Angon on the right bank. You loved it so much that we decided to try canyoning: a 60 metre drop! What a fantastic souvenir!

It’s in the Col de la Forclaz, above Annecy’s lake, that we decided we would live together. We decided to celebrate that in the caves ‘Paccaly’ in La Clusaz.

The little chalet that we had rented in Manigod harboured all our future projects. And in lake Charvin, I honestly thought we were the only ones left on earth!

Since we have returned often, in winter and summer…
with the children.
